If you didn’t get a chance to tune into Baby and Toddler Instructions yesterday on www.toginet.com, you have to listen to the podcast. Cynthia Boggs was my guest and she shared some wonderful tips to make your life easier with your little ones. Here are just a few I wanted to share:
* If your child has a cast and you need to keep it dry during his bath or shower, buy a product called “Amazing Tape.” (quilter’s use this tape) You can buy this tape in any craft store or go to www.amazingtape.com. Amazing tape is rubbery, sticks to the cast, but won’t hurt when you take it off. And how great is this? You can use it over and over!!
* When your little one has trouble falling asleep, mix a little avocado oil with vanilla and massage the middle of your child’s feet and hands. These are pressure points for relaxation and the aroma is very calming. Works for tired parents too!
